Welcome to our website

We are a small village team based some 10 miles north of the city of York with playing and social facilities which are amongst the best in the county.

We have two senior teams in the Hunters York and District Senior Cricket League and an under 13 team in the local Hambleton League. We are also members of the Pilmoor Evening League.

We always welcome new players at both senior and junior level and all are welcome to come and support us at the weekend and on summer evenings.

Nets underway

Nets commence on Tuesday, 7 February. They will be held this year at Joseph Rowntree school, will commence at 8.30pm and will continue until 10 April. All players are encouraged to attend.

What's new

A disappointing 2010 season ended with the first XI yo-yoing back to Division 4 from whence they had been promoted. Because of the league re-organisation, they will face consistently stiffer opposition next year than hitherto.

Despite often having to field fewer than 11 players, the seconds performed creditably, finishing in a mid-table position. They will play in Division 7 next season.

The Pilmoor team did well, the indoor league team were promoted and the under 13s fulfilled their fixtures!

Thanks are due to all those who made it possible, on and off the field. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2011
